Edward Redshaw Sarah Hoffman is a total failure as Health Minister. An ineffective Board, An overpaid, invisible AHS CEO, A bloated, bureaucracy AHS, excessive wait times for specialists while people suffer, underfunded Long-Term Care with residents she treats as discardable, disposable liabilities, an aging in place program with isolated seniors and people with dementia having to be cared for by families. And the list goes on.
She has a nerve commenting on the other parties while she herself is creating so much pain.
VOTE for THE ALBERTA PARTY.

Julie Ali It is so amusing that Sarah Hoffman would yap about the family friendly NDP that hasn't done a thing for families with folks in the continuing care system. The only extremism that is to be punted in Alberta is the extremism in the spin we hear and the lack of deliverables. Protecting the least among us should be the top of the list for the NDP folks who are supposedly for the little guy and gal. Instead we have cases like the Lacombe long term care where AHS polices itself inadequately and the minister's solution to this junk is to create a province wide AHS team to do the jobs of the zone AHS teams. Why not create an independent auditing agency? I guess that would require real work and real accountability to citizens and the NDP aren't there yet.
