Hike #10--Plain of the Six Glaciers Trail

Hike #10.

So we did it but we didn't go all the way to the teahouse because I did not and younger boy did not want to go on the ice at the section high up. Maybe next time we'll do this hike in August.
The parking lot was a disaster by the time we got to Lake Louise after noon and we had to circle round and round until someone left to snag a spot.
Next time we need to be there early.
What little we did of the hike was gorgeous. Yellow columbines swagging the path. There were Indian paintbrushes, gaudy red here and there plus some blue flowers that looked simply godly.
I got a bad sun burn like everyone else. Tuckered out. But another hike to be done tomorrow -who knows where?
