Julie Ali The opportunists among the PCs know that there is no chance in hell of any reasonable chance of return to power without the Wildrose. The Wildrose Party should not accept the pretenders. We're done with the financial abuse of the PCs and their entitlement. There needs to be a complete break with the poor governance of the PCs which has been repeated with the NDPCs. Wildrose and PC Alberta have a unity agreement signed, but YOU need to vote on it! If you want it to pass it requires 75% support of Wildrose members!
Will YOU support unity?
Do you support uniting the Wildrose and PC parties in Alberta?

Elaine Needham-Schickerowsky No Albertans need a choice of government with strong leaders not just 2 parties and we have to flip a coin on who to choose on which one will do the least damage to Alberta.
Bob Easton How and when do we vote on unification?

Ryan Varga Only if they kick the liberal ideologies to the curb, and they embrace fundamental freedoms of expression, including those against oppressive religion and political ideologies. If we allow them to silence us in the name of political correctness, we've forever lost.
Bobbie Norman THESE TWO ARE THE BEST .
Carol L Freemark Yes. I'm willing to get behind either one of these guys.

Marlene Zaborski Wow! Talk about passing judgement on someone who merely put yes or a no! Just confirms that ALL political parties are filled with bullies, and if you are NOT in agreement with their opinions, they will tear or you apart and judge you to no end! Not thats its any of your business, BUT just so you know, My husband was an avid supporter and on the Board of Directors for the PC party for 19 years. I grew up in a PC supporting family. I was one of the first five people that became involved with Link Byfield to support Danielle Smith and get a large Constituency off the ground and get a Board in Place. My husband and I also served on the Wildrose Board in Calgary until we moved away and for reasons that are no ones business, we are unable to support the Wildrose or the PCs. So think before you go mouthing off and bash people and keep your remarks to yourself! AND Laurel Roberts..............WE have never ever have been NDP supporters and never will be!

Julie Ali Marlene Zaborski I voted NDP in the last election to get rid of the PCs. I will vote only for the Wildrose Party if they keep Mr. Jean and do not join up with the PCs. The PCs are beyond saving. I think the Wildrose Party is doing a poor strategic move by trying to unite with a group that Albertans are so done with.

Julie Ali Dennis Warner This is baloney. The Wildrose Party would win no matter what. The PCs are toast no matter what.

Julie Ali Laurel Roberts Sounds like the folks who want the PCs back in the fold are willing to imply that anything is better than having an NDP government in power. What's worse than the NDP in government? Having 44 years of PC failures in the grassroots Wildrose Party and having these PC inserts take over the party to do the same junk for 44 more years. Nope.

Ingrid Thiessen-Cheston no its just another way for ndp to get in again. remember what happened last time when Danielle Smith walked over to the other side.the NDP got in nope Wildrose should stand alone

Shawn Marie Gisi Absolutely yes - hubby and I have had our WR memberships for some time. We obviously hope Brian will end up leading this party, but first things first. And it sure sounds like a lot of people have not read the unity agreement. This will be NOTHING like the old PC party!

Lynne Masse Where can you find the proposed unity agreement?
Darcy Steele So you're saying that not one single person with PC ties or a person who was previously a PC party member or MLA will be involved with the new party? Because if there are such people it WILL be like the old PC party.

Julie Ali Darcy Steele Agree with you on this matter.Let me just list a few reasons why we should not have the PCs in the Wildrose Party-Tapcal Trust Fund, the Tobaccogate business, the blowing up of hospitals, the recent case of the FN woman who was a sexual assault victim but who was imprisoned to keep her ready for trial, the failures to hold big oil accountable so that we are now in the situation of loaning them $235 million with no interest courtesy of the $30 million given by the federal Liberals -it just goes on and on. And this is just the junk that we know of. I'm guessing when the medical examiner case comes to the court we will get more information about poor governance. http://www.cbc.ca/.../alberta-justice-sued-again-in-legal...

Julie Ali Earl Brown If middle of the road Conservatives voted NDP to get rid of the PCs and find that we're saddled with the PCs yet again as the NDPCs do you think we are going to keep voting NDP? Nope. I'm willing to take a chance on Mr. Jean but not on the hand me down Kenney. I do not believe in the unified party with the old Conservatives. Let them sink or swim by themselves.

Anne Michaelis-Wolters No. I see it as another move by the PCs to try to get elected at the cost of the Wildrose Party. Have we forgotten why we formed the Wildrose Party? It was to distance ourselves from the PCs and their corruption.

Julie Ali Nope. The PCs were not productive, wasted money and were anti-democratic. I would not support any merger with this group. Wildrose would be able to win without the PCs.
