Julie Ali Why would the panel want to hear from us when it simply ignores what we say?

#PanelPolitics--the role of this panel is pretty much to go back to the past with restoration of publication bans. Why is this not a good thing? You can dehumanize children by not naming them. When you name a child who has died you not only make that child real to the people of Alberta but you increase the chances of the public asking questions and demanding accountability.
Provide the public with a statistic that is anonymous and you won't get the same sort of result. Accountability is required for failed oversight in the child welfare system but the role of this panel appears to be all about back to the past. It's a shame. And yet they want to hear from us? Why even pretend y'all want to hear from us when y'all are just going to do what is required to cover the exposed behinds of the partners in care?
