--#MediaAttention----------#SocialMediaChangesEverything------------In the case of retribution faced by families in Alberta the best way to do the business of punishment is to take it. Yes, take the punishment created by the government of Alberta to be meted out by the continuing care industry and the hospitals to the citizens. These organizations would not be able to do the business of retribution without the legislation created by the PC MLAs and left as is by the NDP MLAs. Don't think for one minute that the government of Alberta is separate from the suffering of families in these punishment situations. The government of Alberta is fully complicit in these matters. The MLAs created the Trespass to Premises Legislation without an appeal process. The PC MLA for Riverview told us this without any flicker of understanding or interest on what the end results are for families. Think about this folks. The PC MLAs knew about the problems faced by families in bringing up issues regarding the care of loved ones and simply made the legislation so as to end these problems for the continuing care industry and the health care system. If they had been interested in the just society model that the HQCA babbles about to us they would have put in the independent appeal. But nope. The government of Alberta doesn't want the dirty secrets of the continuing care system out on the line before the public. We'd be furious. Instead they give the hammer in the hands of the continuing care industry and health care system; when problems erupt the government of Alberta says its spin of "Abuse will not be tolerated" when by golly abuse is tolerated, neglect is tolerated and non-compliances are tolerated so long as the public doesn't get to hear about these matters and raise a fuss. Everything is tolerated by the government of Alberta so that the fiction of good oversight by Alberta Health is maintained and so that the pretend advocates and pretend Ombudsman and pretend PPIC office can appear to be real offices that protect our most vulnerable citizens. The reality is quite different in some cases and when these cases are put on social media we get to face reality. There isn't enough money put into the continuing care system. There isn't enough trained workers. These workers may be caring but aren't prepared for the major problems they encounter. Complex care teams are an illusion for the most part at these places. There is no oversight of worth. We have no transparency or accountability with reference to auditing function of the GOA and the health authorities. We have cover up and we have retribution. But in the end all of this junk will end. Families have social media now. What will the GOA and the health authorities do to end social media transmission of the reality of continuing care in Alberta? What will the GOA and the health authorities do to end the dissent of families like that of Stephen Tucker? How will they shut us all up? Outside the clouds are creeping on their hands and feet across the blue ballroom of sky.
I have yet to pick up Rebecca for the home visit. I will try to pick her up after supper as the day just vanished.
I had my nap which is essential and looked at a few poems. I will be taking Sue and mum out later so that's another visit in between Rebecca.
Usually when things are fast, I tend to slow down and simply do less. In contrast other folks speed up and wear out. It's no use getting your knickers in a twist. The fact is that there are always problems and best to look the problems direct and face them.

Mom is still at hospital in emergency everyone . Had meeting today at hospital and hoping she can stay there until an answer comes back on the other care home to get her in . If not we will have to get her set up in a apartment . No media has contacted us yet. So let's keep sharing how this care home abused my mom

Been banned? Face it and social media it. Been abused? Face it and social media it. We're not staying silent any longer. We're speaking and we are telling the government of Alberta to end the problems of retribution that they are entirely aware of. The government of Alberta is complicit with the continuing care industry and the health authorities because the PC MLAs made the Trespass to Premises legislation for the purpose of ending the problems faced by the continuing care industry and the health authorities. With the hammer of banning they put the fear of god into families who don't want to be separated from their family members in the continuing care system and so stay silent.
But some families did not stay silent. They spoke. And we found out the dirty secrets of the continuing care industry that the Tories were fully aware of and did nothing about other than issue spin. We know. And we're not staying silent.
Got retribution? Face it and social media it. #SocialMediaChangesEverything
