--#MediaAttention----------A VERY SAD DAY YESTERDAY!! Thanks to our justice system and to a care home in grande prairie Alberta . My dad was forced to go to court yesterday only to have him and my mom seperated once again due to my dad being my moms voice . The home banned my dad to be allowed on the property for a full year as we know it now. All my dad did was protect mom day in and day out of the non care she was missing at the home of missed food feedings catheter plugs for nine hrs and the list goes on and on with plenty of pictures and documents to back it up . All I want from this post is for it to go viral to stop the abuse in homes and to stop the banning of partners because they are there only voice in a lot of situations when the victim cannnot speak or move for herself. Please share this post and any help we can get to reunite my mom and dad would be apprieated . They don't deserve this as our justice system is so messed up .so the latest news at the hospital is that they will not hold her at the hospital and will be forced to take her to the care home that abuses her or to the apartment dad lives in !!how wrong is this-----------Julie Ali The care home can use the Trespass to Premises law. This law was made by the PCs and does not have an appeal process. The law allows the care home or hospital to ban a person--from seeing the resident at the care home or hospital. There is nothing that can be done about this banning because the PCs did not put the appeal in and the NDP have not amended the legislation to allow for an appeal. What this means is that the court will uphold the ban and the family is separated. It's an act of retribution. The government of Alberta is fully aware of this retribution process and supports it. This is why you will not get help from the government of Alberta. After they ban you they can also sue you. The fact is we are powerless as families.------

Just now
Yet another family goes through the retribution process in Alberta. The government of Alberta is fully complicit with the continuing care industry in the matter of retribution since the government itself made the legislation--the Trespass to Premises legislation that is used against families. It's too bad that the NDP folks did not amend this law to allow for independent appeals. It seems that they are the same as the PCs who made the law.
When families get banned, they have no recourse and now that the NDP have shown their true faces to us we understand that there will be no remedy to this unjust legislation.
Nope.
What we understand from this entire set up is that we pay for offices that can't help us, we have to be moved forwards and there is no just society in Alberta.

Julie Ali RCMP enforce the banning business and they're all in this together--government, AHS and the continuing care system.
