It is a very demanding profession and we -as patients made demands on doctors that result in stress for them. The system needs to spread out this stress so that early intervention is present rather than late in the day crisis. This is especially important, in terms of the mental health services that all citizens should be able to access in a timely and fair way but often are not available. Doctors don't also seem to recognize their tendencies to overwork and underdiagnose their own stress.
