Timeline 2014---In any case the letter states"AHS determines funding for long-term care facilities by assessing the continuing health care needs of every resident. Funding is then allocated to facilities to provide the amount of care required, based on the assessments. All long-term care operators are held accountable for providing the funded hours of care through the submission of reports to AHS." Hmm... but if no one is doing any audits of the facility--- then I guess all of this reporting is pretty useless right?

Timeline --April 14, 2014----I get a letter from Mr. Horne.
By this time I am confused yet again.
He says the mask should be paid for by the long term care provider. He yaps about the mask being "typically purchased annually". He is confused about the mask business it seems because he thinks AISH covers these masks. He is wrong.
But there you go. There is further yapping about how the funding is enough. You gotta wonder at the Tories. They were so elite they never saw how the most defenceless citizens begged for scraps at the table of plenty. It's like a vacuum exists between the oil monarchs and ordinary citizens who can't get seen, heard or known.
When poor people ask for help, it is just bothersome for the elite. They sit in their public offices and drum their fingers. Oh, why are we being bothered by these citizen ants? Who are these citizen ants to bug us and spoil our picnic? Who are they to insist on information?
And the information we get is so weird. Why would I be contacting the folks at AHS for help when the folks at AHS are the ones who are confusing us? I begin to think that all the people at Alberta Health, AHS and these continuing care businesses are simply having coffee together and stomping on citizen ants.
