PC Alberta February 6 at 3:38pm · NDP MLAs say they don't have the resources they need to do their jobs effectively. Rather than addressing the root of the problem, their knee-jerk reaction is to ask the taxpayers to foot the bill.--------Julie Ali I am curious why you need so many resources to do the work of talking to your constituents. Ruth Adria of the Elder Advocates of Alberta Society has not been able to see her NDP MLA for Riverview. Lori Sigurdson surely has time for meeting with constituents? You don't need extra resources to meet with people. In addition, Ms. Adria is an advocate for seniors and would like contact with the seniors minister. Ms. Sigurdson is the minister of seniors so why won't she meet with a JHC human rights champion who works tirelessly for seniors? Folks in Riverview never had any problems in the past meeting with their MLA. I don't believe this lack of contact-- is a matter of resources but of the failure to do the job of listening to constituents. It not acceptable MLA performance in my opinion.--

Bryan Randall A typical socialist problem. Never enough of our money
Cathy Gotfried Interesting!!!
Trudy Hauser I think what they mean is they don't have the "intelligence resources" because most of their MLA's are still in shock from the day they won the election. Seriously, this is undoubtedly the lowest average IQ rate for a party in power in the history of Alberta!! Hence, the gong show!

No resources are needed to do the job of meeting with constituents. All you have to do is make an appointment and have the courtesy to listen to the people who voted you into office. And yet the NDP folks don't get this. We have Ruth Adria-a human rights champion ignored by the Riverview MLA for no reason that I can determine. It's poor job performance. I mean I can't see why the Minister of seniors would not be available to meet with a seniors advocate do you?
