As Albertans we have no right to know the details of health care contracts our government enters into with private providers like Points West Living. We should. It's possible that public funds are going towards lawyers, security and replacement workers instead of being invested in front line care. Until we can phase out private sector delivery of continuing care Albertans deserve full disclosure of publicly funded contracts with all private providers.

Julie Ali Good luck getting this information. I was told by the GOA folks that this sort of information is off limits. I believe that when any company accepts public money we should see the money trail. The auditor general of Alberta needs to audit the money trail and determine how much of the money goes to resident care and how much to profits.
