Les R. Landry Maybe Brian Jean needs to be a real leader and get some ethics in his caucus. He should be suspending Leela Sharon Aheer for this disgusting post that she posted on her Facebook page.---------Julie Ali Why is this a disgusting post? It is the truth. There is no political will in the NDP government to do anything about Serenity case. The delays in the autopsy report and the transfer of information to the RCMP did not happen on the PC watch. It happened on the NDP watch. It takes days to do an autopsy report. So why did the NDP folks have this autopsy take years?-----

Personally, his house and belongings, and those of four family members, were all reduced to ash in the Fort McMurray wildfire in May, yet he married “the most wonderful woman in the world” over the summer.

Provincial affairs reporter Emma Graney sat down with the Wildrose and Progressive Conservative opposition leaders to chat about the highs and lows...

Thomas Glover re:“I truly believe my job is to stand up each and every day for Albertans and Alberta families, and that’s what I intend to do.” And does he have a time frame for when he is going to start doing this? The last election was a while ago and we still haven't seem much accomplished from Jean or his party.
Maureen Schwab What would you want Jean to do other than provide strong opposition, his party is not in power and any of the suggestions they have made have been voted down by the NDP

Les R. Landry Maureen Schwab during the election Brian Jean said that he has a plan to get Alberta off its reliance on coal. But he has never told anyone what his "plan" is. I say, tell us what that plan is and let us decide if it is better. But no, he expects people to follow his plan of a plan of no plan without asking and expecting an answer.
That is one thing I would want Jean to do.

Julie Ali Les R. Landry Doesn't matter if Mr. Jean has plans or not Les. Families like my family will be voting for him because the NDP have not kept their promises to our most vulnerable citizens. If the Wildrose then don't keep their promises we move to the next political party. We're going to keep changing parties until the GOA is accountable to the people of Alberta.

Dar Dealmeida Notley has the right in a panic - two pipelines that will happen - a cut in emissions - a growing economy - diversity ( no more one trick pony economy), an increase to min wage, happy oil companies, beef markets opening up in Asia, etc etc !!!

Julie Ali The NDP aren't going to win the next provincial election. They have done very little but mess things up in Alberta. It's going to be very interesting to see how they keep their promises in the next year which is all the time they have left before they make new election promises (that they won't keep) in the last year of their term. Get ready for a Wildrose victory folks. Mummies like myself who voted PC and then voted NDP to get rid of the PCs are doing the Wildrose route now. We want change in terms of the care of our most vulnerable citizens and we will keep changing political parties until we get this change.

Julie Ali Harvey Bishop I actually think the Wildrose will win the next election. It's entirely the fault of the NDP. Swing voters like myself who voted NDP to get rid of the PCs wanted change. We got no change. There has been no political will to alter the problems in the child welfare or continuing care systems. It's a farce. We have no sort of pruning of ABCs (agencies, boards and commissions). There has been no effort to decrease spending by amalgamation of school boards. We could have one super school board and that would get rid of the waste of cash that are all these small ineffectual school boards that don't do anything for kids. We could in fact have one school system and not two. The NDP talk big but they result in no change. I'm voting Wildrose. Won't vote PC.

Jill Anderson Ric mcivor is the only qualified man to be considered for the PC leadership, and he's not on the ballot. The reason? He's 'not presentable enough'. Ridiculous.
Maureen Schwab McIvor has done a good job as Interim Leader of the PC Party

Les R. Landry Ric finished second to Prentice. Most of the time, when a person finishes second they do not enter the next one. Dave Hancock finished second to Redford, he in turn went to interim leader when she resigned but Dave did not challenge Ric or Jim for the leadership.
