Two videos posted on Facebook caught the eye of millions, causing concern and outrage targeted towards the Greenville Public School District. The videos show Linda Winters-Johnson, a special education teacher, dragging a special education student by her hair in the Greenville gym.

The first video

The videos were uploaded yesterday afternoon by Kesha Williams instantly began to be shared around the Web. The first video is 1:12, and starts by showing Winters-Johnson pinning Taylor, the student, to the ground by her hair.
Winters-Johnson lets go of Taylor’s hair, at which time the student attempts to use the gym door handle to help her stand up. Before the girl can stand up, Winters-Johnson gets out of her chair, grabs Taylor’s ponytail, and begins dragging her across the gym floor.
Winters-Johnson once again lets go of Taylor’s hair and returns to her seat. Moments later, Taylor sits in the chair next to the teacher. Towards the end of the video Taylor tries to get out of the chair twice, but Winters-Johnson grabs her arm and stops her both times.

The Second Video

The second video starts with Taylor sitting on the bleachers, playing with what appears to be a thermal cup. Winters-Johnson walks over to Taylor and snatches the cup out of her hand. She then pushes her forward with the base of the cup.
Winters-Johnson then goes back to her chair and sits down. She rolls her chair back over to Taylor and begins digging through her purse. Taylor tries to reach for the thermal cup, but Winters-Johnson slaps her arm away twice, before grabbing it.
The video ends with Winters-Johnson having Taylor sit on her lap. Taylor tries to get up a couple of times, but Winters-Johnson prevents her from standing. The teacher finally puts her arms around Taylor to prevent her from getting up.

An investigation is being conducted into the two videos.

At this time the school, along with local authorities have announced that they are conducting an investigation. While rumors were spreading that Winters-Johnson had been arrested and charged, as of now she is not in the custody of the Greenville Police Department at the time of this article.
